There are three complete watch cap patterns in this set. They
are made from different weights and thicknesses of yarn, but work up to
the same size adult hat. In the photo to the left, the top three
are all made with bulky yarn. Bulky Yarn- a thick, warm hat that knits up fast.
Chunky Yarn - knitting on smaller needles, a bit more
refined than the Bulky Yarn watch cap.
Worsted Yarn - this hat looks smaller, but actually
fits the same as the other two. The finer yarn and smaller needles
produce a watch cap that has more stretch and more memory in the finished
knitting. The ribbing closes up tightly, making it appear smaller.
