Toes First Socks
These socks start with the toe and work up to the ribbing, backwards of the traditional sock pattern.  The heel is knitted on as you go, so when you reach the top of the sock, you're done!

Shown here from left to right:
1) white Border Leicester wool with an attractive lace insert along the front of the sock, lace pattern included in the pattern
2) dyed green Border Leicester plied with a pastel multi-dyed green/purple, gives a nice "rag wool" effect with a simple ribbed leg, a very easy first "Toes First" project
3) I call these my "Stained Glass" socks, the black is natural black Border Leicester, the colors are all dyed jewel tones, some with RIT dye and some with Kool Aid, color chart included in the pattern
