At the age of 9 I held my first pair of knitting needles.  At 15 I bought my first French Angora rabbit.  At 16 I sat down to my first spinning wheel.  I was hooked on anything fiber at a young age.

I discovered my first Border Leicester fleece at a fiber fair in 1990.  We'd recently moved to a home with a couple of acres, just enough to keep a scant handful of sheep.  It took some time and planning, but the first Border Leicester sheep arrived in 1993.

Since then my life has been graced by many wonderful animals, I've made many friends in the fiber arts world, and I continue to enjoy the feel of quality Border Leicester fibers in my fingers.
