Easy Triangle Shawl
Impress your friends with one of these shawls even if it is your first. Simple instructions and simple stitches go together to creat this fancy looking piece. Knitted on large needles, you can keep knitting until it's the size you want. Make a small shoulder shawl or a huge back-of-the-couch "monster". Pattern gives directions for both sport weight and worsted weight yarns.
The striped shawl is made of sport weight yarns, lots of different fibers and textures with fringe added. The light colored shawl is made of worsted weight 2 ply Border Leicester wool with color beads added during the plying. (A very tedious process and not one I found very useful.)
