I suppose it's about time I stitched up a Border Leicester (pronounced "lester") sheep for this page.  I chose to stitch it on a black background for a more dramatic effect, but I can certainly see it stitched on white or stitched with waste canvas onto a sweatshirt.

Design size is 70w X 84h stitches. Eleven colors are used of DMC cotton floss. Model is stitched on 26ct black Heatherfield, #9024-95 from Wichelt Imports, Inc.
