Book Reviews
Charlie Needs a Cloak is
a great resource tool when demonstrating spinning and weaving to
children. It's also a great book to read to your kids and
grandkids!
Color in Spinning
is, in my opinion, the best book on color and color blending on the
market. If you can only buy one book to improve your production
of homespun yarn, this is the one!
Funky Knits is geared towards the teenage and 20-something knitter with trendy patterns.
Knitter's Companion is the perfect knitting bag reference book.
Knitting Ganseys
is one of my favorite knitting books. Besides the step-by-step
instructions, you get some good knitting history and techiques.
Knitting Out of Africa
was a wonderful surprise to me. Forget all your preconceived
notions of black and white geometrics when you open this book.
Knitting Patterns for the Hand Spinner is a delightful little book written for the more experienced knitter.
One Skein has useful and pretty patterns you can knit or crochet from just one skein of yarn. Great for using up leftovers too.
Yarns to Dye For will spark your creativity and stain your fingers! Use handspun or commercial yarns with this book.
